SparkLAN Communications introduces the WL72917_8M, an ultra-low-power AIoT module equipped with Wi-Fi 6 (2.4GHz) and Bluetooth LE 5.4. Designed for smart homes, healthcare, industrial automation, and smart city infrastructure, this cost-effective module provides reliable wireless connectivity and enhanced energy efficiency.

 

The WL72917_8M is powered by an ARM Cortex-M4F microcontroller, running at up to 180MHz with 225 DMIPS of processing power. It features AI/ML hardware acceleration, 672kB of SRAM, up to 16MB of external PSRAM, and 8MB of embedded flash memory. For ultra-low-power operation, it includes a multi-stage power management system. The module also offers advanced security features such as PSA-L2 certification, secure boot, and hardware encryption accelerators for AES, RSA, and ECC.

 

To ensure global compatibility and compliance, SparkLAN is actively planning certifications for FCC, IC ,CE, MIC, NCC and and has obtained Bluetooth Qualification, making the WL72917_8M suitable for worldwide deployment across diverse IoT markets.
