5G RedCap : AC5035 SiP and AC5035M2 5G M.2 Module to Power Global A-IoT and Smart Applications

Unveiling 5G RedCap

5G RedCap, also known as NR-Light, represents a streamlined version of the 5G New Radio (NR) standard, tailored for devices that require lower data rates and extended battery life, such as wearables, sensors, and other low-bandwidth applications. This innovation highlights the evolving diversity of 5G applications, which are underpinned by three core concepts: URLLC (Ultra-Reliable Low Latency Communications), eMBB (Enhanced Mobile Broadband), and mMTC (Massive Machine-Type Communications). Together, these pillars drive 5G innovation, enabling comprehensive connectivity and addressing the varied demands of modern technology ecosystems.

5G RedCap Module to Power Global A-IoT and Smart Applications

SparkLAN announces the launch of  fist two new 5G modules: the AC5035 SiP module and the AC5035M2 5G M.2 module. These modules are designed for high-efficiency A-IoT and machine-to-machine (M2M) applications, compliant with 3GPP Release 17 RedCap standards. Offering exceptional data transmission capabilities, they meet the demands of today’s high-speed connectivity and low-power operation requirements. These modules provide flexible, reliable solutions for smart factories, smart cities, and global connectivity applications.

Both SparkLAN AC5035 and AC5035M2 modules are powered by the Qualcomm SDX35 chipset, supporting 5G NR sub-6 GHz frequency bands and delivering powerful performance for various embedded and industrial applications. The AC5035 SiP module not only supports 5G but also offers backward compatibility with 4G LTE technology, ensuring stable and high-speed multimode connectivity. The AC5035M2 module adheres to the M.2 form factor standard, offering broad compatibility and flexibility, making it particularly suitable for embedded systems requiring stable 4G and 5G connectivity.
